Good morning

At least it is moring here in Warsaw. We all got an early night to catch up on some much needed zzzzz.
After the meeting with the Polish kids we went to theWarsaw ghetto. What an amazing expereince it was to walk the ghetto with Max, our survivor. He was able to talk about all the sights from such a personal perspective that it really brought alive for the kids. He described his smuggling through the sewers and how he used to bloew his whistle to alert the kids to the presence of the Nazis. Just an amazing experiene. Afterwards we walked over to the Umshlagplatz where the Jews were forced to wait to board the trains to Treblinka. It was there that we spoke about the other meaning of resistance- spiritual, davening etc. After which we had an amazing Mincha with emotion and feeling.
Looking forward to a great and meaningful day
